Spicy Shrimp

Sauté shrimp in 2 to 3 table spoons oil until almost cooked (couple of mins). Add a cup and a half cup water and following spices:

  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Chili powder 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tbspns
  • Garlic/Ginger paste (finely minced) 3 tbspns

Cook until gravy gets thick  to desired consistency. Then remove gravy and let shrimp cook to a little crispness (make sure to cover pot to avoid splatter, you will hear popping sound), don’t burn! Add shrimp to gravy you set aside, garnish with fresh coriander (optional).
